In addition, it can also be used as a surface milling solution when the fixture limits cutting accessibility. Usually, it provides the most economical solution with four cutting edges per blade but does not allow for sloping.

In this application, the unstable working conditions caused by long overhang and the challenges posed by forging surfaces and wet cutting for blade life. The low lifespan of the blade caused by coating damage has also resulted in surface quality issues of the workpiece. By replacing the existing solution with GC1130 blades, the damage was significantly reduced and the part processing volume increased by 57%.
